We have picked our favourite winter shoes for children available in stores. These are shoes that can handle anything winter throws at them, rain or snow.
Superfit has a great selection of very comfortable and practical winter shoes for both girls and boys. The shoes have a high arch to help support the foot.
With waterproof Gore-Tex membrane they are also breathable winter shoes. A leather insole and good protection over the toes, making them very durable shoes. The pink trainer for girls comes in sizes 22-30, and the popular stone-combi can be found in sizes 20-26.
If you are a favourite of Clarks shoes for kids, you will have to wait until autumn to get a waterproof Gore-Tex shoe. Next season's waterproof shoes include the AirBoy GTX Junior in brown leather, specially created for winter wear. It is durable and has a rubber toe and heel protection. It is available in whole and half sizes, with different width fitting. Geox breathable shoes for kids are very popular with parents that have very active children or children that perspire a lot. T
his lace-up boot in smooth leather also has a side zipper. It is ultra-light, waterproof and of course breathable, even with a rubber sole. The Junior William boot comes in blue, brown and black, in sizes 1-13.
The Aqua-rite line the Start-rite brand's waterproof range; its aim is to keep feet warm and dry whatever the weather. The new styles include Aqua-spray for girls, a back to school styled ankle boot, Aqua-Stream and the boot Aqua-Current, for boys.
Ricosta has very stylish and waterproof shoes and boots. The Ricosta Den is a unisex winter boot made in the waterproof 
and wind tight material High2Out and a Sympatex lining. The winter shoes are still breathable and have practical protection over the toes, making them very hardy and practical in bad weather, sizes start at 25.
The Ricosta Ursi boot for girls is both trendy and functional. In leather and faux-fur, but is also waterproof boot. A comfortable winter boot with a removable and washable felt insole.
