Two million Graco baby strollers have been recalled due potentional child entrapment and possible strangulation. These injuries are more likely for infants younger than 12 months of age when the child is not harnessed.
This recall affects Quattro Tour or MetroLite stroller.
An infant can pass through the opening between the stroller tray and seat bottom, but the childs head and neck can become entrapped by the tray. Infants who become entrapped at the neck are at risk of strangulation.
Nothing is more important to parents than keeping their babies safe, healthy, and happy. In order to ensure that they can adequately do that, companies and the government regularly recall products that may pose some danger to children. Everything from car seats and strollers to medications and formula can be recalled.
With all of the things parents need and want to raise their kids the list of recalled items gets pretty long. Look for the model numbers or other identifying information when checking if your baby’s stuff is on the list.
