Make a simple photo album with a bit of scrapbooking inspiration. Scrapbooking has been popular for some time, and while the scrapbooking tools and accessories can be quite expensive you can get away with less.
Print out some photographs of your child's friends and family. Find five sheets of thin cardboard or thicker paper sheets, such as cereal packages or the back of notebooks. You can also buy coloured cardboards in many discount stores. If you use cereal packs, consider glueing on white sheets of paper to hide the prints.
Gather any coloured papers, wrapping paper, ribbons, stickers, or anything else that might be useful for decorating.
Cut the thin cardboard into size, about 1-2 inches larger than a photograph. Punch holes through one end of each cardboard page, you will later tie them together with ribbon, yarn or thin rope, to make a book or album. Let your child decorate each page and then glue on a photograph. You can always cut the photographs into different shapes. A fun detail would be speech bubble with something funny, cartoon inspired.
The album can have a theme, such as family or holidays, or also a colour theme. If you want to remember the days on the beach, apply glue on the bottom of the page, sprinkle sand on it and let it dry. Alternatively glue on a strip of sandpaper.
