We often forget about the simplest games we played as children. Games that engrossed us for hours and kept us occupied. Dots is a simple game that can be played anytime and anywhere, but you will need at least two players. Using a squared or grid notebook (for maths), mark out a square area by drawing a line around it. Start with a small square, counting 10x10 squares, and make it bigger as your child understands the game. You can enhance the squares by putting dots on each corner of the grid.
The goal is to make squares by filling in all the horizontal and vertical lines of each small square within the previously marked square. You cannot make diagonal lines.
The player that completes a square marks it with his initial and has another go. The player can keep completing as many squares as he can, but once done he needs to draw another line.
When all squares are completed the player with most squares is the winner.
