An easy and pretty craft for when you are waiting for spring to come. Create a beautiful bouquet of flowers with your child, by decorating pencils.
Start by looking at images of flowers with your child, to get ideas for shapes and colours. Draw out flower shapes on papers and let your child decorate them. Then glue them onto the tops of the pens and put the pens into a vas or a pot.
You can also cut a bit of Styrofoam and wedge it into the pot, you can then push the pens into it.
What you need:
PensColoured papers
Scissors and glue
Mix of decorations (glitter, pearls, pipe cleaners, etc)
Styrofoam (optional)
Pot or vas
