A simple and fun game to do at home, outdoors, with or without music. While on a walk or dancing to music, the adult shouts “Statues” and everyone stops in mid movement like a statue. Try for dramatic poses and faces. Keep the posture for a few seconds, small children will probably not last any longer than that. Be prepared to repeat it over and over again.

A variety and a good way to teach children about traffic lights and safety, is shouting “Green light” or “Red light”. Add “Yellow light” for slow movements.
