FunCrafts_Little_tots_1011_Remote_hide_and_seekSometimes it only takes a bit of innovation to make an old traditional game into a new experience and a fun activity for kids.

Hide and seek has always been a simple game with plenty of fun for children. While you may not always have the time to fully engage in your child's games, this twist on the classic game will let you have fun together while giving you a bit of freedom as well.

The difference from the usual game is that instead of your child or yourself hiding, you hide a kitchen timer set on any amount of time you like. While your child is looking away or if you ask him to step out of the room, you set it and hide it.

The child must then listen to the ticking and try finding the kitchen timer before it rings. Start by hiding the kitchen timer in easy places and gradually make the hiding places harder. A great indoor game to try on a rainy day.
