Old toys become new toys

FunCrafts_Little_tots_0311_Toy_rotationYou don’t need to prowl the toy store to find new exciting toys for your child, and despair at the quantity of toys littered throughout your house. A very useful way to entertain your child and giving him new stimulation is to rotate his toys.

What you do

Divide up his toys into two or three heaps, making sure there is a good variety in all the heaps. Don’t put all the soft toys in one and blocks in another. Leave one heap in his toy chest and store away the rest in boxes or bags. After a few 1-3 months you can rotate the current toys with the ones in storage.

You will probably notice that your child likes variety and with fewer toys to divert his attention it will be easier to focus. The toy rotation not only gives your child new interesting things to play with, but will keep your house tidier and give you the chance to give toys a scrub before storing them.
