With celebrity doctor Dr Eva Orsmond, from RTE's Operation Transformation, will uncover the importance of nutrition to ensure your child stays healthy naturally. The Expo's aim is to provide the best and most up to date information on aspects of your child's health.

Attend a choice of two workshops in the afternoon and get answers to questions on your child's health issues.
• Asthma workshop with an Asthma Nurse Specialist. You will be given the correct advice on diagnosis, treatment and management. Instructed in the correct use of inhalers, medications, and more.
• Eczema workshop with a Dermatology Nurse Specialist. You will be given the most up to date information on Eczema, diagnosis, treatment, including how and when to apply all the different creams and what is available in the market, and more.
• Behaviour Management tots to teens with a Parent Mentor. You will be taken through the most common behaviour problems and how to parent positively and it is very much an open session with choosing the topics.
• Paediatric First Aid with a Resuscitation Nurse Specialist. You will be shown what if your infant or child stops breathing or is choking. The brain can only survive for 3-4 minutes without oxygen. You will also be told how to treat common first aid emergencies.
• Alternative Therapists facilitated by a variety of therapists. There is such an array of alternative therapies available to parents that it can be very confusing. We have brought together a variety of therapists from different areas to take you through what they do and how there therapy can benefit your child and see if it's right for you.
The Irish Asthma society and Irish Eczema societies will also be in attendance on the day along with many other organisations.
The Expo has been organised by Safe Aid Training, providing training for parents and childcare facilities on a variety of subjects, including Paediatric First Aid and Resuscitation.
