Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) 4th, 11th and 18th September
Three-day course on ABA, which is an approach to changing behaviours in children and young people. The workshops help you understand and use ABA in supporting people with special educational needs. With particular focus on teaching positive appropriate behaviour, by examining the functions of behaviour and how the environment can be arranged to encourage more adaptive behaviour.

Parenting preschoolers and young children 28th Sep - 19th Oct
Course with Dr. John Sharry, psychotherapist and co-developer of the Parents Plus Programmes. Helping you deal with the challenges of raising toddlers and young children, by presenting a positive parenting model that helps them learn and build their self esteem. Learn how to 'tune into' and understand your child, helping them to learn and behave well. The course will also cover dealing with tantrums, oppositions and how to best set rules and to get children to behave positively. Course runs over four Tuesday nights, 28th September, 5th, 12th and 19th October.

One day parenting course 25th September
A one day parenting course designed by Dr. Tony Humphrey, providing you with parenting tips and skills to parent more effectively. “Parenting is the hardest job you'll ever do and comes with no training or support”, says Sheila O'Malley, that runs the course. The day gives you and opportunity to reflect, invite change and help create a calmer and happier home. Choose the right level for you, and what needs you have currently as a parent. The programme is designed to deal with all ages, but are related to different issues of different age groups. See also availability on other days.

Irish Multiples Birth Club Conference 25th September
A conference for both members and non-members of IMBA (Irish Multiples Birth Club).
Among the many guest speakers will be Dr. Carol Cooper, GP, mother of twins and author of 'Twins and Multiple Births', also Dr. Chris Fitzpatrick, father of twins and Master of the CoombeCoombe, Dr.. John Sharry, psychotherapist and co-developer of Parents Plus Programme. Also listen to talks from midwives, psychologists, speech and language therapists. Make sure to register in advance.
Time and Venue: 9:30am-5pm, Clarion Hotel, Lifey Valley, Dublin. Registration will start at 9am, and there is an optional parents night out from 8pm.
