Irish Premature Babies are hitting the road this week with a road challenge around Ireland to raise funds for incubators, monitors and equipment for Irish hospital wards caring for premature babies.Beautiful baby Gracie Rose (in picture) is the little fundraising mascot “Hope”. Gracie Rose will be with biker Sean Brennan, raising awareness of the equipment that is needed in the wards to help premature babies as her.
Sean Brennan will be travelling around Ireland in four days in a Harley Davidson. With Gracie Rose, who is following in the support car, he will visit a different NICU/SCBU (ward for premature baby) each day.

The “Rev up for Prems” road challenge 2011 starts today 19th April at the Rotunda Hospital SCBU, continuing to Cavan General Hospital, to Castlebar Hospital SCBU, Galway University Hospital NICU, Cork NICU, Waterford General Hospital SCBU and finishing on Friday 22nd April in Coombe Hospital NICU.
