A course for parents with children with ASD. It includes an introduction to cognitive behaviour therapy and the strategies it uses to help children cope with their anxiety. The course will also give strategies on how to deal with sensory processing difficulties in children within the autistic spectrum, and how this affects play, social skills and behaviour. The course is run by Kate Cullen, occupational therapist, and Dr. Fiona McCaffey, head of Research and Development at Middletown Centre for Autism.
