.Organisations such as One Family work to support one-parent families in Ireland, but also to change cultural prejudices and government policies. The organisation is based in Dublin, but strive to help one-parent families nationwide through their national referral directory that will put parents in touch with services in their area.

One Family offers a variety of services to support one-parent families, such as childcare service, parent mentoring and courses, for parents and families as a whole. They also give specific support to fathers, which also include courses and support meetings in Dublin.

Another support system is their telephone helpline Askonefamily (low-call 1890-662212), where parents can get information and support for issues as social welfare, parenting, education, and more. One Family will also try to get you the help you need in your locality.
