Baby and hip problems

E-mail Print PDF

Parenting_Help_0711_BabyhipsA good start and resource for parents looking for information on baby hip complications and clicky hips, such as underdeveloped or dislocated hips.

Created by two mothers that put together a simple guide of practical information, making it easy for parents to understand how to deal with issues that arise and what may be ahead of them.

A child or baby with underdeveloped hips, Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH), or Congenital Dislocation of the Hip (CDH) will most likely have to use a hip cast and need surgery.

Babyhips.ie gives you good and practical advice on how to deal with the hip casts on a day to day basis, dealing with getting about, clothing, childcare and more.
