A fun family day out. Join other enthusiastic kite flyers of all ages at the Wicklow Kite Festival, supporting the Blue Dolphins Special Olympics Club in Wicklow.
Bring your own kite or buy one at the event, you will have a great day regardless of your kiting experience or age. Enjoy the fun and the family activities, including face painting and games. A great family day for all.
The organiser will that day try to break the record for the world’s third longest flying kite. With his specially made kite he hopes to fly it over 2.000 metres over the sea.
Date and Time: 14th May 2011, 2pm.
Venue: Black Castle, Wicklow Town.
Cost: Free, but a donation is appreciated.
