On Saturdays and Sundays at The Ark, from the 27th November until 19th December, the focus is on storytelling, books and stories. In the Reading Room you and you r family can hear stories read by some of the most popular children’s authors, including Roddy Doyle, Niamh Sharkey and Derek Landy. For an hour you can all step in into the adventures and fantasy world each author will open up for you. See the online schedule to pen in your favourite author and suitable age group for your child.Also a good family activity is the Story Lab, an interactive space where children can write and record their own stories. Listen to stories by professional storytellers and other visitors. A good way to encourage your child’s fantasy and creativity, suitable for children from age of four and it is a 30 minute facilitated session.
Dates: November 27th-28th, December 4th-5th, 11th-12th, 18th-19th.
