Don't miss the open day at the Irish Seedsavers in Co. Clare this weekend. Enjoy two days out with interesting and fun activities, market, food, gardening and of course the beautiful grounds with orchards and gardens.
The grounds are full of nooks and different gardens to explore, a great place when you are looking for things to do with kids. There will also be plenty of fun things for children, such as bug hunts and face painting. Enjoy the lovely food of the Organic Café or Pizzas from the wood fired oven, all with live music and surrounded by native apple trees.
Don't miss the juicing and tasting of native Irish apples. See also the demonstration of traditional skills and enjoy a tour of the garden and orchard. Adults can see cookery demonstrations by Darina Allen, learn about gluten-free food with Cate Conway, and more.
And if you have a garden, don't forget to buy your own native Irish apple tree to bring home.
