Celebrate the International Day of the Family with a free family day picnic this 15th May in Iveagh Gardens, Dublin. The celebrations are hosted by Ray D’Arcy who says the celebrations are aimed to encourage families to have fun and spend more time together.The celebrations will have plenty of fun activities for children and families, including arts and crafts workshops, storytelling, sports and family entertainers. The day celebrates families of all possible varieties and composition, a day for all.
If you can’t make it to the picnic, you can hold your own event before the15th May. No matter how small your event is, register it; submit a photo and you could win €1.000.
The Family Day picnic is being held by One Family, a national organisation for supporting people who share or parent alone.
