Spend St. Patrick’s weekend at a festival in Sligo, full of free activities for children and adults. The Sligo Food Festival starts the day before St. Patrick’s day, but the children’s activities start on Friday the 18th with a Teddybears’ picnic for children under five. Other fun activities will include painting with vegetables, MadHatter’s Tea Party, vegetable model making competition and more. The festival also has plenty of other activities, such as cookery demonstrations, food trails, street entertainment, a food village, and much more.
