How to make a quick pizza

E-mail Print PDF

Family_cooking_0311_How_to_make_a_quick_pizzaWhile pizza is not the most complicated recipe to find, few of us will ever tackle doing it from scratch. This is our pizza recipe for a middle ground solution for how to make a pizza at home, but as fast as ordering from your closest fast food place.

Inspired by Nigella Lawson, this is our recipe for a tasty pizza which not only is as fast to make, but also a lot healthier and fun to do. Let everyone choose their own toppings and involve your kids.

What you need (serves 4)

4-6 Nan bread
Tomato sauce
Grated cheese
Choice of toppings

What you do

Pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees.

Get your favourite nan breads, plain or flavoured and spread tomato sauce on them. You can either use pre-made tomato sauce from jars, make your own, or simply use canned tomatoes that you pureed into a soup.

Add any toppings you like, such as ham, pineapple, chorizo, and so on. Any vegetable toppings you use, such as mushrooms, peppers, onions, should be finely chopped.

Finish off by covering the pizzas with plenty of grated cheese. Bake them in the oven for about 10 minutes or as soon as the cheese starts to melt. Serve your pizzas with a green salad and enjoy. Yummy!
