The jungle book
A classic movie from Disney, but a very loose interpretation of Rudyard Kipling's story of the human boy Mowgli that is raised by animals in the jungles of India. The wolf pack that has cared for Mowgli decides it's time for him to return to the human village so he is protected from the human hating tiger Shere Kahn. The panther Baghera is given the difficult task to deliver the boy to the human village, since Mowgli refuses to accept he is human.

The movie is full of encounters with jungle animals and memorable songs, such as the bear Baloo and his song "Bear necessities", or the monkey king Louie and the jazzy "I wanna be like you", and many more.

It's an early movie, from 1967, so the animation is not sharp and flawless, but the songs and music are excellent. Don't jump straight to the book after loving this movie, because you only recognise the names.
