A new 3D kid’s movie in the cinemas from the creators of Ice Age, premiering this week. A family movie and fun comedy about the two Macaws Blu and Jewel. Macaws are an endangered species and Blu, living in a small town in the US, is the last male Blue Macaw left. He is shipped back to Brazil, to mate with Jewel, the last female of their species. The two birds are manacled together, to get them used to each other.
Unfortunately the domesticated Blu never learned how to fly, and when the two birds are stolen by animal smugglers, their escape becomes a real adventure. Blu has to find the courage to learn how to fly, if he ever wants to return to his best friend and owner, Linda.
