A fun movie that will appeal to adults as much as the kids. While the physical action and the funny looking hens might appeal to small children, it is primarily aimed at school age children. Adults will see the similarities to WWII movies such as “The Great Escape” as it tells the story of the underground resistance a coop of chicken, led by the brave hen Ginger, against the cold-hearted and nazi-like owners.Once a cocky American cockrel, Rocky the flying Rooster (voiced by Mel Gibson), comes to the chicken work camp, the resistance is dedicated to get the hens to fly out of the coop and to freedom. Funny dialogue and scenes, that will appeal to different age groups on different levels.
