Enjoy 13 of the Dr. Seuss classics in one tome. The rhyming and wording is funny, and stories will be told with a twist and a hidden moral that doesn't glare at you. The book of course includes all the favourites, such as The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, Horton Hears a Who!, The Grinch, and more.
And for the adult, every story has a bit of information on the story itself and on Dr. Seuss. Did you know that The Cat in the Hat was a challenge Dr. Seuss received? The textbook publisher William Spaulding commissioned a book to encourage children to read, he delivered a list of 400 words but stipulated that Dr. Seuss could only use 225 of them. The book managed to rhyme 223 words of the list.
