By Jan Fearnley
The story of the little girl Tallulah who wants a pink fluffy rabbit for her birthday. She searches everywhere but she just can’t find a pink fluffy rabbit, so her Gran decides to knit her one. As Gran knits and knits, the pink fluffy wool runs out and she adds other colours.
Once the knitting is done, the end result is not really a rabbit and more a pink fluffy…armadillo, but Gran is delighted. Tallulah is disappointed but thanks her Gran and tries to like the Milo Armadillo, but he just isn’t a pink fluffy rabbit.
A fun story about appreciating something different, looking beyond just looks and finding a true friend. Fun and pretty illustrations that tell more than just the simple text that goes with them.
