Many had this book as a child and is one that you might have forgotten about. Full of entertaining stories, classic illustrations and funny rhymes. Through reading and fun, introducing children to the alphabet and numbers. This is a book first published in 1975 and modern parents can take offence at Richard Scarry's dated gender divisions, mothers are always in aprons and preferably in the kitchen. We can forgive it, the kind and fun world of Scarry's friendly animals is as wonderful as ever.
