The creators of the ever popular Gruffalo are loved for their illustrations, easy and rhyming texts. This is the story of Fred the busker and his singing cat Tabby McTat. They get separated by accident and cannot find each other. Tabby makes a new life, but cannot forget his friend Fred. With a different kind of ending, that shows that stories are not always predictable. The story has a little of a Dublin flavour to it. The youngest toddlers might not fully follow the story, but the rhyming texts are fascinating to them.
